Notre Dame Class of 2003

Wisdom Walnut - Planted in the grounds of Lingfield College

Upper Sixth at Notre Dame School (now known as Lingfield College) - Class of 2003.

Paul was a friend to all at school, fellow pupils and teaching staff alike. A tight year group of just 60, we were fortunate to have the opportunity to get to know one another well, so friendships lasted well beyond our years walking the school’s corridors together.

We feel proud to have spent such formative years with Paul – at play as well as at work. His untimely death served as a catalyst to tighten our bonds with one another again in the midst of Covid-19 restrictions. Constrained to digitally reconnecting for now, we look forward to celebrating Paul’s extraordinary life together, raising a glass to him and recounting silly school-day exploits! It seems fitting that Paul continues to unite us in friendship, even though he is not standing beside us any longer. His absence will always be keenly felt but our memories of Paul will stay with us.

We will continue to promote Paul’s passion for conservation and the natural world in his name in dedication to such a good friend, whose laid-back manner and warm smile will be etched in our minds always.
