Stella Cherry Planted in Cheltenham UK

Planted by the Baker family

Paul was at the heart of our family. He was a kind and caring brother and an amazing uncle to his nieces and nephews. He loved it when we all got together and brought us so much laughter and fun, throwing himself into table tennis and badminton tournaments, freezing sea-swimming, and jamming on the guitar. We all adored him and loved his company, and miss him more than words can say.

We chose to plant a cherry tree to remember Paul. He loved climbing the cherry tree in my parents' garden when he was little. The Stella is a self-fertilising variety which originates from Canada in the 1970s. It is now Britain's favourite dessert cherry, producing sweet fruit and attractive blossom.
